Did 2016 Dallas or 2024 Washington have the Better Team Going into their Playoffs? (Read Post 66)

Who had the superior playoff-caliber team during their rookie season?

The teams that make it further in the playoffs are the best. According to you if a QB has a losing playoff record and doesn’t win a Super Bowl they’re a loser. Funny that you don’t think that should apply to a team.
Neither team won the Super Bowl though….

Does anyone understand what the poll is asking?

I haven't voted because I really dont understand the question. Is this about which overall team was better? If so why are we voting for QBs? Is it which team minus the QB is better?

The 2016 Cowboys were the better team top to bottom, but Jayden Daniels was the better rookie of the two QBs.
I took it as who had the better team around the QB in terms of talent.

That is an option, but I do not prefer it. Heck. I created a poll in the Off-Topic Zone and proceeded to pick a choice I said I would not make.

Yep. Braindead move but I left it as is. All members can make a clarifying comment about their vote like I did in that other poll thread instead.
OK ......... as far as the team around both QB's ......... Dak had the better team around him.

However, Washington won two road playoff games, including against the number one seed and made it to an NFC championship game. While the Cowboys went one and done at home to a Green Bay team that was 10-6 and had a defense ranked in the 20s. If you’re saying the Cowboys had the better team, then you’re disregarding the playoffs.

I added a clarifying comment to the OP. I hope it helps.

The answer you provided is not to the question OP asked.

People really seem to think you made a poll asking “Who made it further in the playoffs” as if that required a poll to answer.
So a teams playoff record doesn’t matter? You determine the better team by who had the better regular season record and the most All-Pros. Why not just award the Lombardi trophy at the end of the regular season and not even bother having the playoffs? lol

‘16 Cowboys had a way better roster overall. I don’t see it as being all that close
I was hoping to catch some thoughts from other divisional opponents' fans, even Washington fans. Thanks.

That said, I may not say thanks to an Eagles fan for any future comments. Gotta stick to my principles, you know. :)
