Who do you want to be the new HC/OC/DC of the Cowboys?

We all know HC/OC MM is getting canned. DC Mike Zimmer is also getting canned.
I think there is a real possibility that JJ let MM fail on purpose so that he could bring in his splash guy, Bill Belichick.
I personally would rather have Vrabel than BB. I wanted Vrabel to be the DC over Zimmer and then he'd already be in place to replace big Mike. But here we are...

Obviously this team needs new everything, a new voice, new direction, new identity and a new culture across the board.

So who are the names on the top of your list to replace the all 3 coaching jobs and bring this team back to life?

I wrote a post after the Lions loss about who the next HC should be on the fan zone. I mentioned HC like BB or Saban as they have the hardware to get the Jones family to listen that changes have to be made the way they run/build the team. Sure, a modern OC paired with a quailty DC could work, but that isn't going to change anything the way they run this team.

My suggestion was BB to run our defense as HC and hire Dabol as his OC who is also expected to be fired. You could hire Vrabel as well, but don't think he has the clout to change the way the Jones Family operates.

Daboll as a HC hasn’t worked out, but he was a really good OC in Buffalo

i'd love for belichick...vrable...brian flores or chris shula as hc.
belichick is my preference.
the only way for a hc to be successful here with the f/o dynamic is to coach around jerry.
belichick is the only one who could do that.
vrable has the make up.
but i think bill from day 1 would figure around jerry and make it his team.

as for off coord...if dabol got fired...he'd be a good choice.
if belichick were to be hc here...i wonder if he'd bring josh mcdaniels as the oc.

for def coord...obviously belichick would be that...but i'd love robert saleh.
he did an awesome job running the 9ers defenses.
i don't think vrable would come as dc under belichick.
if vrable comes to dallas...its for hc.
if the browns fire their current hc...considering vrable is in their front office as a consultant...i wonder if thats where he lands.
but if we can't get bill...i'd love vrable as the hc.

hc:bill belichick
oc:josh mcdaniels
dc:robert saleh

I know he has the resume and the name but I don't like the man. Call me naïve or whatever else you want but I don't like cheaters, no matter how small or trivial the offense. It just means that you're dishonest and I want no part of that for my team or my head coach. Not that I don't think he's a very good coach, because I do, but I think he was more a product of Tom, at least more so than Tom was a product of him.

I personally want a strong defensive minded HC and a flashy new young OC. I know Bill fits that HC mold, but I'd still pass. Flores maybe?
IMHO, McJosh is very over rated, so no thanks. Johnson or Slowik perhaps?

My top two choices would be Vrabel and Brian Flores. But Vrabel has proven that he takes no crap from GMs, and Flores has shown that he takes no crap from owners. Both of those are problematic in Dallas.

This team doesn't seem like a fit for Belichick any more. He seems happy on TV (have we ever heard him talk this much?), and if he wants two win-now seasons to catch Shula, we aren't the team for it.

Daboll is a good coach, he's just getting scapegoated for a gutted-out, Daniel Jones led roster in New York. I'd love to have him here as well.

Speaking of that, if the Browns fire Stefanski, I'd be all over him as well. A consistently successful, winning coach, getting scapegoated for his owner's DeShaun Watson trade. Cleveland gave up 3 first round picks and is sinking a quarter of their cap into a UDFA-level QB. I mean, they could probably have 5 new starters filling areas of weakness right now instead of Watson. What would Stefanski's record look like then?

A lot of good options. I also like Saleh as an option even if it’s just for the DC job.

My big thing is just getting an OC that is with the times…we were clearly void of talent this year and the OL wasn’t playing great but MMs playcalling was basically adding gasoline to the fire.

No issues with Vrabel or Flores as BB alternatives, but they have to get through to the Jones Family that things need to change how they run the team/build the roster. I mentioned Daboll as a possible OC in that BB tree, which the other 2 are also apart of.

Jerry didn’t let anything! He greatly overestimated the ability of the RB room and was too obtuse and hard headed to accept the declining skills of Zeke. He greatly underestimated the effect of having a nonexistent run game combined with 2 rookies starting on the Oline. Make no mistake, he fully expected this to be a team that came out the gate running, that justified extending McCarthy by week 8 at the latest, on its way to a playoff run! The concept that Jerry was going to sacrifice a whole season, especially while simultaneously giving minimum top 2 contracts to a QB and WR is just silly.
I doubt seriously Jerry has much interest in Belicheck. Frankly, considering his 83-104 record without Brady I would hope he wouldn’t. Based on that last couple of years in NE Belicheck looked like an old man who the game had passed by, Just like Landry, Knoll, and Shula in the 80’s!

Please no one over the age of 70.

My preference is a no nonsense defensive HC that is willing to give full control of the offense to an innovative OC.

HC- Vrabel
OC- Chip Kelly
DC- Shane Bowen (was Vrabel’s DC in TN and likely to be looking for a new job if Dabol is fired)
