Who gets along with their in-laws?

That's amazing. I wished my former in-laws would have done that with me. I really liked my former brother-in-law, but it's water under the bridge now.
I live in Kansas City now after my divorce. I just went back to Wisconsin to visit and my in-laws invited me over for dinner. Every one of my ex-wifes family was there except for the ex-wife. We took a big family picture. They tell me that I will always be a part of their family. I was married to my ex for 20 years.

Just have mother in law left but always got along with all the in laws....I've been lucky.

I’ve always gotten along very well with my in-laws, better than my own blood in many ways. My mother-in-law was tough, but she welcomed me. I guess buying her flowers the first Valentines Day my now wife and I were dating helped. Nothing surreptitious about doing it; I was 15 and it just seemed like a nice and respectful thing to do.

We make it work - my father in law loves to talk and saying the same stories over and over. He's been doing this since I met him 20 years ago, so it's just his thing. Drives me nuts but I just let him talk.
My mother in law drives my wife more crazy than me - but both are fine overall in small doses.

I miss both my parents and my wife's folks. I loved my in-laws and probably got along better with my F-I-L than with my own Dad. But, all were kind, loving people.
