I think Purdy has the edge, but I also think our defense has the edge if they show up to play.

Man, I don't like Purdy. But I can see he is very good. Better than I would like for him to be. So, it's tough to say. He doesn't like to give up the ball, so the Cowboys have a fight on their hands.

If anyone gets a turnover, I suspect it will be Daron Bland.

Suppose Purdy throws for 4 TD's and no INT's and Dak has 1 TD and 1 INT.

Now suppose the Cowboys win.

Ask each QB after the game which one had the "better" game and I'll bet they would have the same answer.

To be honest I don't care. Dak doesn't have to be better. Just steer the bus, no turnovers and keep the ball as long as possible in our hands. The defense will do the rest.

Even if it's the most "boring" 17-16 win ever, if it's a win these guys are for real!

I think the real question is which quarterback will have a greater effect on the game win or lose?
Quarterbacks alone have a difficult time winning games, ask Dan Fouts. (Dig out your history books kids)
However, they seem to have a easier time losing games, say a pic 6 in a tight, hard-fought game.
Now, kickers are a different story, don't get me started.
Who knows with Dak, so I have to give the edge to Pukey.

lets see: Offense that been having trouble in the Red Zone versus Efficient Offense? Considering that the QB is what drives the offense, isn't the answer obvious? Dak will have to up his game.

Here are a few more stats to keep an eye on though.

Dallas defense only have given up 7 points in the 2nd half of games, that was to Arizona in the 4th quarter.

And just now heard on Pro Football Weekly. It is on every Sunday morning, for years at 6:30 AM CST, on Bally Sports South West
Dave Wannsdedt is one of the analyst.

The last 2 games for Dak against SF in the playoffs. 3rd and 4 or longer...Dak is 3 for 22 ...that is horrible. He must do better.

Yep, but what would be outstanding is seeing Dak orchestrate a late comeback ...... that would put to bed all (of my) concerns, lay to rest the nagging 49ers doubt and give a level of confidence that should see us into the play-offs.

Forget who has the better game, I just want to see the Cowboys win. But I'm not confident. I think they have the better weapons on offense, but I also believe we have the better QB. That said, he certainly hasn't looked very good against the 49ers defense the last two years, regardless of QB talent on the other side.

I'm hoping that changes tonight because it should. I'm just not expecting it to change. I have to see it to believe it. We need to rattle Purdy and put up an offense than can move the ball against this team. I think we can.
