Nothing will take away from this loss. The defense has fallen apart and Dak has become very inconsistent. The Cowboys are headed for another one and done.

There is still a scenario where if the Cowboys lose out and finish 10-7 they miss the playoffs IF the Commanders, Giants, and Lions all get to 10 wins.

It's very slim but it probably comes down to tiebreakers involving common opponents, points scoreed, etc. So the Cowboys are basically in but it's not official yet.
