They're is at least always one high prospect that will bust. They will fail because of injury, character, going to a bad team,overhyped.
So give your best bet who ends up a bust.

My prediction

*Zac Wilson QB BYU.
I like him has everything to be successful except he is going to the Jets. Just like Sam Darnold the Can't Miss QB a few years ago. Wilson will get blamed for a badly run organization. Zac Wilson likely starts Day 1 as a rookie not even getting a chance to sit and learn behind a Vet. ( Other QBs right now on Jets roster are James Morgan & Mike White) .

* Jaelin Phillips DE Miami
Multiple concussions, serious injury to his wrist ,both ankles have had injuries and he is just now entering the NFL. If concussions don't do him in, something will. I can see him living on IR like Tyronne Crawford for a career. He originally retired playing at UCLA and then went to Miami. I can envision Training Camp, he gets a concussion retires over CTE. Never playing a down in the NFL and living off the signing bonus and contract that he duped some team to draft him.

* Devonta Smith WR Alabama
Weighs 166 lbs. He needs to go to the right situation. He will need a big receiver or a true #1 WR to take the pressure off of him. He will get pushed around with his slight frame. Also he is not super fast. Average NFL WR speed of 4.48 forty. Reminds me of the situation of another Heismann WR Desmond Howard who ended up a returner and a slot WR at best in the NFL.

So who are your guesses?

Zach Wilson and Fields will bust. With Fields I feel your drafting the University not the player. He's not good and making his reads quickly.Wilson is use to throwing to guys that are WIDE OPEN. The NFL requires throws in very tight windows, which is something I have never seen him do much. I am skeptical.

One of the Alabama receivers especially if they are drafted by the Giants or Eagles because of poor quarterback play.

Jayson Oweh. These guys ranked in the first round that haven't played many games but have the "traits" are a big red flag for me.
Potential over Performance guys. I agree.

Beat me to it.

100% agreed. Don’t think he will bust. Just feel he won’t live up to the 2nd round billing
Lindy’s has him WAY outside the 2nd round. Why is Dallas supposedly so high on him? Smokescreen?

I don’t think so. They sent most of the staff for his pro day which usually means genuine interest

Parsons: Athletic freak without any true skill position to play. He'd make a wonderful MLB in the modern era but he has to be taught EVERYTHING. He has none of that on tape yet.

Whomever the Eagles pick: I will find a way to hate their player the moment he gets picked. But I suspect it will be the least impressive of the offensive weapons then they'll have Devonta Smith out there trying to block at 170 pounds while Hurts scrambles.

Kyle Pitts: I just think EVERYONE has built him up well beyond his football production indicates. Too many folks only watch tape snippets and don't consider the whole. I can absolutely see him being great but only in the absolute right situations. There is a reason there is talk of him falling to 10 even though most scouts rank him player 2 in this draft.

I wonder what they saw. If they draft him anywhere before the 4th, the pundits will have a field day!

Mac Jones is trash. The 49ers taking him over Justin Fields will be remembered like the Jaguars drafting a punter over Russell Wilson.

Jaycee Horn has a bunch of Mike Jenkins to him as a grabby reactive CB with bad tackling form. I wouldn't blink if he washed out of the league in 5 years. He's an extreme high-variance prospect.

Kwity Paye is too sound of a run defender to totally wash out, but he'll become a has-been rotational DE really quickly if he can't start getting around tackles.

I'm a Rousseau fan, but I'd be lying if I said there wasn't a lot of risk to his game. Average athleticism to get around the edge and too lean/lacking in power to play DT full time. I think his length will play like it did in college, but that also forms a worryingly large part of his projection.

Phillips missing his medical checkups is scary.

Parsons seriously seems like he has mental/emotional issues and is almost guaranteed to do something stupid off the field before his rookie deal is up. For comparison, we knew Zeke was a party boy, we overlooked it, and that came back to bite us repeatedly over the next five years. But Zeke's just careless and lazy. Parsons has a violent edge that I don't think Zeke has (he-said-she-said DV allegations aside). He could Reuben Foster his way out of the league very quickly.
