Who is ready for Rampage vs Jones? (UFC 135)

I got Jones by submission in 4th, just to be crazy. I think this has the makings of a decision victory for Jones though, Rampage is a tough sob to finish but I think he's too one dimensional to beat Jones.

I'm absolutely looking forward to this fight. A few of my friends are coming over tomorrow night and we're going to order this PPV and have a good time as part of my Birthday party. Birthday isn't actually till Sunday but this is part of it none the less. lol

I think Jones is far more skilled and SHOULD win this fight. I will not be shocked, in the least, when he does.

But something inside just keeps tugging at me saying that Rampage is going to actually pull this one off. I don't know why that is but there is just that feeling there.

I'm a huge fan of both guys, so I can't go wrong no matter who wins, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't like it just a little bit more if Rampage won, cause I absolutely would love to see Rampage get the belt back.

Rampage has that one punch knock out power that makes it so unpredictable.

He could be totally outclassed during a match, he could be losing every round, he could look like there is no way he could win it.

Then he could get lucky with one punch and end it.

I think we have all (well those that watch UFC fights) have seen matches where one guy just flat out picks apart another fighter, where they just out class and out fight an opponent in pretty much every area...but throw a wild punch that ends it and gives them a victory. Sometimes a punch that is more of a defensive move when getting attacked.

When a fighter has that one punch knockout power, they always have that ability to turn things around.

On a side note.

Did anyone catch the 2 hour premier of the new season of The Ultimate Fighter?

Have to say that it probably had the best opening fights (to qualify getting into the house/season) that I remember seeing and what seems to be a great group of fighters.

Yeah I saw it and came away with the same feeling on the upcoming season. Did you happen to notice in the video package, for the season, how Bisping get water squirted in his face and then gets upset about it? I thought that was hilarious given how he did the same thing to a fighter last time he was a coach.

I'm really looking forward to this season.

Dont sleep on that Ben Rothwell fight either.

I think Bones dominates, I dont see how it goes down any other way. TKO R3.

This season of TUF looks solid but bantamweights? Its like a pillowfight.

I think Jones wins an easy decision given his more diverse skill set, speed, and training in Albuquerque which will give him an advantage in Denver. But I was also shocked that Shields got decked by Ellenberger in 50 seconds, so what do I know!

Jones is going to win this fight.

If Rampage wins its by knockout because that is his only shot.

Jones has him beat in every department.

Jones easy.

I wish this was Rashad instead of Rampage.

One of the few main event fights I have actually seen both fighters since I still new to this sport. The last time I saw John Bones Jones it was freakishly impressive. Rampage is too one dimensional in my opinion and I think Jones will bloody him up pretty bad. As long as he doesn't allow a lucky one on the button, Jones wins big.

Bones might kill Rampage. Makes me sad b/c 'Page is one of my favorite fighters ever, but Jon Jones is just on another level. The only guy I remember coming in and dominating like this was GSP, and we see how that has worked out. I think Bones is gonna sit atop a very talented light heavyweight division for a while.

Not sure what that move was in that prelim fight but it was awesome, lol.

None of these fights really excite me. I bought the card anyways, but thanks to the hour and a half wait I'm not watching it at Buffalo Wild Wings with my friends. Oh well. They should be fun at least, I just don't care much for the fighters. I like Hughes, but I see a wrestlefest against Koscheck, Josh will probably win anyways.

Haha, called it. By the end of the 2nd round Rampage knew he had no answers.

Rashad and Jones is going to be a much better fight.

Rashad is much more dynamic and presents more of a threat. Can't wait.
