Who looked better the pass rush or the coverage?

Watching the game lil stoned to me it looked like a lot of good coverage underneath.

The rush did rattle Brady but not in a blink the way we’re used to. More of a disciplined game plan to consistently rush and not run past Brady and take yourselves out of the play.

That tackle had no shot on Micah

Did Sam Williams play?

Goes hand in hand. Coverage holding up for a beat longer allows the pass rush to get pressure and look better. Pass rush getting quick pressure makes the coverage look better. All I know is that Micah was an animal and made Brady extremely uncomfortable. Would have liked to have seen more out of Lawrence and Williams, but I believe Lawrence was facing one of the better tackles in the game in Tristan Wirfs. We rarely put Parsons on that side, but I do believe he beat Wirfs once with a spin move.

The pas rush was forcing Marsha to release the ball long before he wanted and into coverage!

Even though the front 4 put some pressure on Brady most of the night, I believe the coverage was awesome. As for Sam, I too was wondering the same thing when I saw him standing on the sideline.

One complimented the other. Dallas played more press coverage, often denying the short routes Brady loves. That forced him to hold the ball longer and pressure arrived.
