Lots of "pudding heads" are online chirping about who to blame for our loss to the Jags.

Let me tell you who to blame.
1. the Jaguars.
2. the Jaguars.
3. the Jaguars.
4. the defense
5. the coaches (specifically with the play call on 3rd and 10. You run that ball into the line and make them burn the final timeout. They don't get that kick without that timeout)
6. Noah Brown
7. the defense again

People blaming Dak are lazy, dumb, and will be here week after week to blame Dak for everything. They are losers. Dak played basically a perfect half of football. He led the team to 34 points and lost, in part, because a professional WR had a ball hit him in the chest and hands and threw it up in the air to a defender. Dak haters will do that... hate.

With that said and that game out of my mind forever... We are in the playoffs. 10-4. To think we'd be here after the first game of the season is remarkable. I'm hoping we can get these losses out of our system, maybe get right here over the next couple of weeks, and go on another win streak. Go Cowboys.

(haters... go away)

Agreed.

Pudding heads love to whine.....about literally everything. Somehow this makes them feel better after a tough loss.

Bigger picture, we will play a 6-8 Bucs team in the playoffs that is decimated by injuries and their QB isn't getting any younger.

Finally!!!!! Someone with a brain that likes the Cowboys!! Gives me hope.

Yes you are spot on. And THIS loss was probably the best thing for the team. If they are smart they will rest all the dinged up veterans as there is 3 meaningless games left.

Dak was still partly at fault. Don't shift it all on other issues. He should not have thrown that last pass. It was a horrible decision and pass.
I like Dak, and will be called a hater by his loving fans. But that is the way I feel. These past 3 games has lowered my opinion of him. Not to the point of hating on him, but to the point it is time to be more critical.

I do blame the defense for most of this though. Just a pathetic performance the last 3 or 4 games as well, overall.

Now I hope Dak proves me wrong and plays lights out the rest of the way, but his INT's are unacceptable.

I got Kelvin Joseph at #2. Not sure how he wasn't cut this morning. As Jimmy Johnson used to say, you can't win with dumb players.

I disagree with this statement. You pay your QB 40mil a year to make good decisions. That was a shot play. You should be able to rely on your QB in year 7 of starting to know the situation and made the right decsion. Of Course he didn't and now everyone wants to blame the play call. The QB is reading the CB, if they play the sticks (which is expected) and the WR runs by them, you take your shot. If the CB plays the WR and not the sticks (which is known after 10 yards), you come off that and check it down or run. The only time that ball should be thrown deep like that is if the WR is wide open, he wasn't so the QB has to do something else then what our QB did. You can blame the call play all you want, but the QB makes the decision, no one forced him to throw that ball. It wasn't a bad play call, it was a bad decision by the QB. Dak played a good game for the most part yesterday but he made a poor decision on that play.

This is part of the stupidity... If you watched football and understood it you would know, that based on the coverage and the play call Dak made the correct decision.

The play was designed to go to CeeDee on a crossing route but was "doubled or tripled" as Dak said in the post-game:
"We had a crossing route with CeeDee [Lamb] and they put two or three guys on him. I just tried to throw it deep and give Noah [Brown] a chance."

Then you hear the coach's comments:
"The decision there [at the end of regulation] was, offensively, do you play conservative and run the ball to take time off [of the clock], or do you try to win the game?" said McCarthy. "It's a simple decision. If it converts, it's a great call. If it doesn't, you get criticized for it."
and you realize it was a coaching decision.

You tell a QB to throw for it... THEY WILL!!!

It's 3rd and TEN!!! They should have called a run, without a passing option and ran that ball and burned that timeout.

It's on the coaches.

We are down too many players on defense to go far in the playoffs, sad to say : (

You can take all the stills and say this or say that. It was a poor decsion to throw the ball. I agree that a run would have been better but i will not kill the coaches for having faith in your 40mil man to make the right decsion. They did but he didn't and it cost us. If everyone was covered, he should have ran the ball himself, he has to know and understand the situation. He was playing hero ball on that play. He played a good game, so I am not knocking him for his play on the day. But this one play he made a bad decision.
