Who will be the starting 11 on defense?

With Carpenter moving inside,does that mean Greg Ellis is one of the starting olb's?Who will be the stater at free safety,Keith Davis or Pat Watkins?Who will the staters be?Will it look something like this:

DLE:Spears
NT:Ferguson
DRE:Canty
LOLB:Ellis
LILB:James
RILB:Ayodele or Carpenter
ROLB:Ware
LCB:Newman
RCB:Henry
SS:R.Williams
FS Davis or Watkins

Does that sound about right or am i a little off base?

That looks correct. I think Ayodele will start over Carpenter and Davis over Watkins. But maybe Watkins can push for the starting job during the year.

I hope our nickle formation will come to look like this:

DT: Ratliff
DT: Canty/Johnson

LB:Burnett
LB:Carpenter/James
LCB: Newman
RCB: Henry
NCB: Glenn

looks correct. Hopefully if Watkins doesnt start at FS in the base defense he will start right away in the nickel. Watkins will definitely be starting sooner or later though

I think Ratliff makes a strong case for playing time at NT or DE.
Maybe a lil of both.
