The 6-4, 327-pound sophomore “is the epitome of a Freak,” according to the NC State staff. Ekwonu takes his freakish skills from the weight room and displays them on the football field. Strength coach Dantonio Burnette says Ekwonu, who has hit 18 MPH on the GPS at practice and vertical jumped 30 inches, will run as fast as former Wolfpack first-round offensive lineman Garrett Bradbury, who clocked a 4.92 40 at the NFL Combine.

One of the best OL prospects in the draft IMO…I think he’s an NFL G but as of now he’s a top 15/20 prospect IMO.

I think if he measures a LEGIT 6'4", he'll be a T...he apparently has really long arms.

Not to mention the athleticism. I think he goes no worse than top 20. Quality O Linemen are hard to find too.

Because of the lack of franchise QB talent in this draft, and utter lack of interior defensive linemen, guys will be getting pushed way up the board. Ekwonu is one of them.

This draft is looking as thin as any crop since 2013.

I think it’s more about his feet and length than just how tall he is. I think he’ll be a G but we’ll see.

He and Linderbaum are two guys I really like for us the first. Both would be walk in studs

Agree with you but I have a feeling that he won’t make it to us at 32.
Newsflash - we ain’t picking at 32. These guys don’t have the guts & heart to do that. We’ll be picking mid 20’s.

From watching him I don’t think His pass blocking is good enough to play LT so probably better suited as a guard

I don’t know that he’s going to be available but there are a few really good plug in and play interior lineman in this draft.
