Why can't we run the ball [serious analysis]

Our o-line imo are really good pass blockers

no they arnt...they are mediocre at it...its why Bledsoe's numbers have been declining all year...

they are playing horrible football right now...you could put alot of blame on the OL for the Seattle loss, we should have lost to Philly because of it but didnt, and we got kinda of lucky that the Lions killed themselves with 17 penalties or we might have lost that game too

it isnt necessary sacks allowed folks...its all the unblocked defenders coming in the face or around the edge...we cant really get receivers to attack in the intermediate to deep routes w/o holding 2 or even 3 extra guys in to block, and that a major handcuff to a teams passing game

Not one of the OL does not have a flaw. With Larry and Marco it's age. With Tucker and Pettiti it's experience. With Johnson and Pettiti it's strength, and with Gurode it's consistency. They just aren't very good and really needed Flozell Adams.

The Cowboys need a center with the power of Gurode and the consistency of Johnson. They also need to add more pitch running plays. BTW, where was Tyson Thompson yesterday? It would have been nice to see a run to the outside.

We faced one of the best defenses vs the run in the NFL yesterday.
We averaged 2.7 per run against a defense that came into the game tied for 19th in the league at 4.0...

They weren´t giving up many yards per game, because teams ran less against them than any other defense. It was a huge disappointment that, with two fresh backs, we could not do anything on the ground against a very average run D in the Broncos.

If our kicking game doesn´t kill us, our running game will. It took both to kill us yesterday.

tosses and sweeps may not be the "strength" of our OL but we need to incorporate a few (w/Thompson?) just to give the D something to be concerned about. You have make them think we will just to get them away from putting all their men up the middle
