Why did Joseph start?

I assume that it was because Brown got a concussion against the Packers, but Brown came in after Joseph went out against the Vikings. Maybe we were planning on resting Brown, but couldn't after Joseph was injured.

Brown didn't practice all week because of concussion protocols. But when called upon he did the job.

Our?

Looking forward to seeing how your prediction of the Giants winning by 3 touchdowns pans out on Thursday.

You don't abandon what you love just because you're mad, Jake.
Think of him, and others, heck, sometimes even myself, think of
them like Randy Quaid's character in Major League.

Abused and smothered in disappointment for years but he came to every game.
Eventually, he was the happiest fan in the stands... lol

Yeah, I figured it had to do with the concussion. Not sure who we even had left since Wright was inactive. Only Goodwin?

You are correct, and apparently it's affecting multiple players (Fowler, Bohanna, Hankins, Basham, Anger). Hopefully, it's something that comes and goes quickly.
Seems like is food sickness to me There have been a lot of recalls on meat lately

Anthony Brown is good.

Yeah he gives up a big play every other game, but that's just gonna happen.
He's a league average corner and last year he was mostly awful. Turkey day game remember?

The CB game has changed. You can't get by any longer having a #1 and #2. You need 3 really good corners and preferably 4. In a passing league, corners are very tough to find. Knowing that, anyone who doesn't like what Brown has been able to do over his career isn't paying attention at all. He's been a solid corner in the league for years now when there really aren't many to be had.

I'm still hopeful that Joseph will pull it all together. We need him to.

He is an Oct 2 2022 poster ..... You mods already got rid of most of them.
Just being realistic. The Cowboys almost ALWAYS lose on Thanksgiving Day no matter who the opponent is. When's the last time they won, 2018, 17 and 16 against the lowly commanders? All the rest in the second half of my lifetime were big fat losses except for two at home against the Raiders when they were bottom feeders at well... oh and I remember getting trounced by the Comanders at home a few times too... RG3 making D-Ware look like a fool for instance... that was my senior year in high school.

The one and only time I remember the Cowboys beating an above .500 team was the Green Bay win in 2007 and that was over half my life ago. 15 long years.

Let's face it... the Cowboys are the Turkeys of Thanksgiving day and it's an annual tradition to carve them up.... even the Lions have had some surprisingly decent wins on Turkey Day unlike Dallas.

Yes the Cowboys have struggled on Thanksgiving Day in recent years.. but it has been 100% by design by the league. Forcing them to play late games on the road ahead of Thanksgiving is patently unfair to the guys physically. And need I remind you of the 2014 game at the Giants that went into OT and ended well after midnight on the east coast? The Cowboys charter got back to Dallas at like 6 am local time and then the Cowboys had to turn around and play the Eagles like 80 hours later. Anybody who has ever taken a red eye can tell you that it takes days for your body to get back to normal.. and none of us has gone out and collided with other large humans falling on carpeted concrete for 3 hours before taking one. It was complete garbage and no one will convince me that it was by accident. It's an intentional dig that Goodell gets in against Jerry every year. I honestly don't understand how the Cowboys managed to get out of that Thursday-Thursday two step this year. Nothing like having guys play 4 games in 19 days to wreck their bodies for the season.

I think Joseph was sick not injured

And the Cowboys have been dealing with an illness running through the locker room for a few weeks now. Apparently, Bohanna missed the game with the same virus. We have to worry a bunch of players all get it and miss a game.
