Why I'm annoyed about the Chiefs

I used to be very protective of our 5 rings. I still kinda am. I will actively root against any team with 4 or more Lombardis to try to defend our 5 until we can get back to another one. It didn't do me much good with the Patriots.

However, between Jerry's seeming lack of caring about getting back to another Lombardi, the fact that it didn't do much good with the Pats, and Patrick Mahomes being Patrick Mahomes, I've accepted the fact that the Chiefs will blow past our 5 soon. Frankly, I could see Mahomes with 8-10 before it's all said and done. That's not what annoys me. Frankly, it's impressive to sit back and just watch a juggernaut roll at this point. The reason why I'm annoyed about the Chiefs is because they seem to get more than their share of ref aid. I am NOT saying that was the primary reason they beat the Ravens. They largely beat them because Likely couldn't keep his toe in, and Lamar Jackson has accuracy issues in big moments like Michael Vick.

That said, the amount of times they called illegal formation (which was the right call per the rules) on the Ravens while completely ignoring the Chiefs' RT YET AGAIN jumping way early before the snap (this was an issue last year with him) really drives me nuts. He would jump back repeatedly a good 2-3 seconds before the ball was snapped. This is a false start, and it should have been called that when it happened every time. It was so blatant that even Chris Collinsworth in the second quarter took notice. The Chiefs are a juggernaut, and they will be until Reid and/or Mahomes leave. They do NOT need referee assistance. Yet, it seems that they do get a bit of bias in their way more often than not. This gives the feeling of foul play, which, really shouldn't be necessary when watching the Chiefs.

If the Chiefs are going to blow past our 5 and make Jerry look shameful that a former Dallas team is going to well overtake the current Dallas team, I would hope that it would be on an even playing field with the refs. I would like to be able to say, wow, they were amazing. But, it just feels like they're getting a bit of the Patriots and Packers treatment from the refs. It ruins the game when that happens. Truthfully, even if they do call false start on the RT, Mahomes can easily make up the 5 yards the next play anyway, but it's the principle of the situation that annoys me .

This is nothing new in sports. Every league, dynasties always get the benefit of the doubt.

NBA - Bulls in the 90s. Lakers in the 2000s. Heat/Warriors in the 2010s.
Yankees in the 90s seemingly got ton of borderline calls.

Leagues seem to want to protect their dynasties.

Especially when a major star is involved like Swift lol.

Jealousy rears its ugly head.
Not Jealousy; over the years it is clear that certain teams get more calls than others. Look at all the roughing the passer calls Tom Brady got versus Tony or Dak.
The Packers O line getting so few holding calls.
Its human nature and those trying to claim this is not happening are fools

Apparently what he is doing isn't illegal. But he used to line up too far back. I saw an entire explanation on this. If you're a tackle, say the RT, and are in a standing position, you can start to move your right leg back before the snap. As long as the ball is snapped before that leg hits the ground, it's ok.

Who comes up with these rules?
are they drunk or stoned?
Its like the one where if someone is being double teamed he can be held. Seriously.
