Why is Parsons always in when he's gassed?

.. seen that last few games. More recently in NYG game.

It's 4th qtr, he's gassed, yet, still playing. Wouldn't you want fresh pair of legs in there?

I mean, what good is he tired getting no push with two 350lb OL standing him up.

It's wasted opportunity a rested player can make.

What say you?

Let's be honest with ourselves on this one.............He usually shines against weak offlines and QB and goes MIA against teams like the Niners etc.
Yes, he is talented, and yes, Jerry will overpay for this one also but he is NOT Garrett or Watt.

Hell all the "DOUBLE teams" he's ALWAYS taking, workouts doing sumo wrestling, the time spent with the Texans QB, Podcast alone is draining on his entire body. I don't see how you could be so selfish and not realize this!!! (how do they say it to me prax, "WHAT A STUPID POST!" LOL

(sarcasm) do not be offended!

That's why i'm not buying the hype, until I see him go against someone that's REALLY good and make plays! He was the only PASS rusher in league history to be exhausted in his 2nd nfl season lol, geez!

He's playing like 90% of the snaps -- almost exclusively at DE and taking a ton of doubles.

Do you really want a guy who takes himself out of the game? Even gassed, he commands attention.
Here we go with the doubles talk again, he's not always taking on doubles, i'm not buying it!

Needs to be in better shape, how many times did Harvey, Randy or too tall ,brunig, howley, tubbs, jorden take themselves out of a game because they were gassed? Never, these players today all need to be in better shape,no excuse for being winded every other play.theyre basically part time players.

Back in the day the players actually practiced more. These days, because of the CBA, the players are rarely on the practice field, and that could be the reason the players are no longer conditioned as well as they used to be.

It's typical of today's athlete - they want more money for doing less work.

Houdini Parsons will always disappear in the big moments.

Ended the Seahawks and chargers games last year with his late game plays.

This narrative he’s not clutch is crazy. In 3 of his 4 playoff games the defense played well.

It isn’t his fault we got killed by GB…. There was nothing one guy was going to do.

He’s an elite player that gets far too much criticism just like ware did. Ware left here and won a title instantly…. Any team be lucky to have parsons. It isn’t his fault we can’t put a competent team around him

..good points. :) I think the game moves so fast today, players dont prepare for long term situations.

Players today aren't Stupid they know they put their lives on the line for this game.
They are in a way like the ancient Roman Gladiators playing a violent sport that could end their careers on the next down of play.
Make the cash while you can young men and save that cash and get out ASAP before it costs you numerous years of quality life after the game.
C-T-E will catch up with this game at some point and 40 years from now it might be a form of Flagg football on the field.

If we had traded this guy last year we'd have at least 2# 1s plus our own pick to move to the top of the board and draft QB1.
Without sacrificing our whole draft!
It takes multiple first round picks to move up even a few spots at the top of the draft. Is there even any team that has multiple first round picks this year? I don't believe there is. So we'd have two, probably mid first round picks. That may get you a few spots. There are about 6 teams ahead of us that could use a QB so you'd have to move way up and in the process, sacrifice your whole draft on a team that has multiple glaring needs. Also, I don't watch college but from what I hear it's a pretty weak QB draft. And then you have the fact we just resigned Dak to a mega deal which means, unfortunately, we aren't going to see much in the way of competition in here for a few years.
