Why Jahmyr Gibbs could turn heads at this year's NFL Combine

Gibbs is plenty fast enough his 40 time isn't a big deal imo because fast is fast. I'm impressed by Gibbs route running this is what can separate him from Robinson. Gibbs will be a nightmare with the right OC...on some Kamara/Pollard/CMC type skill set.

If I'm Dallas I'd put Gibbs in the mix of draftable players in the 1st round because he's a Playmaker and impacts the run and passing game.

Watched him at GT. He was their only offense and was excellent there. I want him in the first.
Dual threat RB. Pair him up with a physical back year 1.

The only RB that's 1st round worthy other than Bijan Robinson.

If the DL board is washed at our pick, Im all in on Gibbs. Him him 200 carries and 70 catches and watch him Cook

Gibbs will also turn 21 right before the draft so he's got some low mileage on those tires. I like him as a pass catcher as we don't do this enough in our offense.

Flashing his sub-4.4 speed in the 40-yard dash will certainly help.

Monday, Gibbs said he was clocked at 4.32 in the 40 during his freshman year at Georgia Tech. While he’d have no problem repeating that feat in March, he believes he might have even more in the tank at the combine.

“I’m hoping to get faster,” he said

Gibbs is a bad man.

All of you are 100% right. At worst he is a instant Tony Pollard without waiting 3 years for him to learn the RB position. Most of All he can BLOCK which Pollard cannot do. He can also run short yardage, which Pollard has not done.

Draft Gibbs (2nd/3rd round), let Pollard walk, and keep Elliott for 1 more year. as like Pollard, Gibbs has never carried the load. But, neither did Kamara.

Gibbs most likely isn't dropping out of the first round. He goes no later than the very top of round 2.

I rather save the money and kick Zeke to the curb. Can get a guy much cheaper to do what he is doing.

If we draft a RB in the first round we deserve to banned from future drafts. I remember when Zeke was coming out how he was supposed to change the world too. No team needs a 1st down RB unless thy have everything else buttoned down already.

The Cowboys need DL, DL and DL. I mean look at what we have at DT. Watkins if a JAG, Gallimore is a big disappointment. OSA is a rotational guy on passing downs. Hankins is 100 years old and is still better than anyone else on thse roster. We need to fix this.

After that they need WR, CB and OL. But all this depends on what they do in free agency and the rest of their roster. RBs can be found in rounds 3-5.
