inside the redzone, things get tight and you have to have a strong running game to succeed. with this RB crew, no one respects our running game and thus teams will just defend it with front 4 or front 5 and drop 6 or 7 in coverage. in tight space like that, its going to be difficult to pass and score consistently. we will have some success, but also fail a lot. and have to settle for field goals. that's what the saints did today. they didn't really respect our running game and they were right. we got total of 46 yards from our top 2 RBs when it counted. on top of that, the depth at WR is going to be an issue, when you have CD, cook, Fergi as your only choices in that area. they simply double them and ignore the rest.
between the 20s, our passing game is good enough. inside the 20 you can't score consistently without a good running game that can demand some respect.
