This was a question posed on Get Up this morning.

Answer: "Because we were having to expend way too many resources trying to stop the run.

I just can't comprehend how so many don't understand the problems caused if you can't stop the run. It's a casual fan thing, I guess, as they can't see past the obvious. Not being able to stop the run causes a myriad of issues. 167 yds rushing.

Unfortunately, Jerry is a casual fan and can't see it.

Then this team will never be fixed. Never. And figuring out why Musgrave was completely ignored won't help
Yeah, you already said that, and I already said I disagree and stated why!!!!!!!!!!!

What experts?
Sorry, should have said analysts. Orlovsky was breaking it down this morning, that our D had to expend way too many resources trying to stop the run, which left not enough players to guard receivers.

On that play, I think because Bell blew the coverage. At least I think it was him. It wasn't because of the run.
Yep, Bell let him cross his face. Maybe he throught Lewis would pick him up, but Lewis appeared to have the flats.

Quinn was real bad yesterday. He should be fired for gross leadership failure.

The defensive players gave up early. That's on the entitled culture Jerry allows. McCarthy is an empty hoodie.

Looked to me like it was his man but it was a well designed play that fooled multiple defenders who should have seen a guy running wide open across the field

Blown coverage happens on every play, when a camera has to pan a stadium the size of 100,000 people to find the closest defender there is a major problem

You should be praying the Cowboys hire Bill. His first priority would be stop the run.
