WII Questions

Hey folks. I just bought my kids the WII game system and I have some questions if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

1. Can you use any SD card for the memory or does it have to be the one specifically for the WII game?

2. How long do the batteries last in the controller and should I get the rechargeable ones?

3. What games are the best. What do you like? Just looking for input.

1. Can you use any SD card for the memory or does it have to be the one specifically for the WII game? - Any SD card should work w/ the WII SD Launcher - I use my camera's atm.

2. How long do the batteries last in the controller and should I get the rechargeable ones? - The regular AA batteries last as long as other electronics which use them. I would still keep some on hand in the event you just run out of juice. Nothing like an upset 8 yrs old waiting for dad to get more AA's.

3. What games are the best. What do you like? Just looking for input.

Rechargeable batteries are good...not just for the wii either.

My son's favorite games are Lego Star Wars and Mario Kart.

We also played a lot of Mario Galaxy when we first got it.

My favorite is Tiger Woods... that's a lot of fun.

Definitely get rechargeable batteries...

As far as games, my kids love Madden. You actually have to throw the ball and catch it... it's pretty fun...

My family likes to play Summer Sports. It has Badmitten(sp?), Volleyball, Horseshoes, Lawn Darts, Basketball, Mini-Golf, and Croquet(sp?).

As far as games, my kids love Madden. You actually have to throw the ball and catch it... it's pretty fun...

Madden is pretty rockin on the Wii. I have a hard time doing as well as I do with a normal controller, but it is fun to actually make a throwing motion to throw the ball.

IMO Mario Kart is THE BEST game on Wii. It is REALLY fun. And like everyone else has said, buy the rechargeable batteries.
