Will LVE no longer be used in a Pass Rushing Role?

There was talk in camp that LVE was rushing the passer. Good to see that the player is being used in different ways, but with Overshown out, we need our LB's to play LB. What are your thoughts on this????

And what is that exactly. Covering the Tight end out of the backfield. Stopping the run at the second level. Blitzing the quarterback. That’s a linebacker that’s what they do.

As exciting as Overshown could have been, I highly doubt Quinn schemed this entire defense around him.

With him gone, they still have all their starters ready to go; anything they thought they were capable of doing should still be on the table.

He should never be rushing the passer anyway. He's way too stiff and easy to block.

That said, I don't think the Overshown injury matters in that regard. They'd rarely be on the field at the same time.

Fwiw...his PFF grade was decent both games.

We all want thumpers....shock & awe

The one time we saw him....knocked Giants QB out of game
