Will "The Snap" live in infamy like "The Catch" did?

I hope I don't have to watch commercials and replays on all the sports stations for the next 10 years of that botched snap.

Well, another slightly better than mediocre season from our BP-led Cowboys. Interesting to see what the future holds for us.

Yeah it will be a play I won't forget for a long time. I will say though, it's no certainty Dallas woudln't have given up a FG at the end. Two things contributed to this loss, Romo's inability to hold on to the ball and the defense folding giving up that TD after a horrible Terry Glenn play..

No - The Catch was in an NFC Championship Game.

This was a wild card game.

What's so crazy is, if Romo realizes that the man was behind him and dives, or Gramatica gets a block on him, he gets the first and we win anyway.

A game of inches

sorry to disappoint you, but the botched snap will not be remembered years from now. Bottom line, it's a wildcard playoff game...and honestly, based on how we've been playing - we didn't deserve to go much further in the playoffs anyway.

better luck next year, hopefully we can make some changes to improve our play on defense and also OL.

It should be "The Hold"....

Vert:

I'll be anything but disappointed never to see that play again. Romo will come out more polished in '07.

It will be remembered as a disappointment by Boys fans, but it's a wild card game between two lackluster teams.

The sad part is that if Terry Glenn would have been three feet to the right, we still may have won it.

Game of inches indeed.

Unless Romo wins a Super Bowl, I'll always blame him for this loss.

I'm with the majority here. This will all be forgotten next week when the Bears smoke they Hawks: and they will. Dallas and Seattle were just playing for the right to go in there and get hammered by a rested, hungry team. God the NFC sucks. I've been an avid cowboys fan for thirty years but they really are an avg. team in a HORRIBLE conference. Truth hurts and sucks in this case.

I think they will be smitten by th Saints instead. They had a better conference record than either Philly or New York to my knowledge.

The "Hold" will be insignificant in a couple of years. We weren't going to the SB whether he makes the hold or not.

are some people here nuts??? of course it will be because ESPN wont let people forget about this. and even if they did not talk about it all, you really think people will forget this with some many damn haters out there. This will never be forgoten...
