Will Tebow get "Brett Favre" treatment?

In your opinion, how long will Tebow get "Brett Favre" treatment from fans and media?

When Brett throws a costly interception it's b/c he was trying to will his team to victory. When anyone else does, they "choked".

In your opinion will Tebow enjoy this same luxury as a player?


(*I obviously don't think Tebow is anywhere close to Brett Favre's talent. I am just inquiring on if you think he'll have apologists who forgive his every mistake as him being "such a leader and so competitive".As if that isn't the same thing all the other players were trying to do)

He's been getting it in spades so far. The pundits from the time of the pick were calling it a huge reach, and then last night I saw someone on BSPN saying it was one of the best picks in the draft.

Four total draft picks burned to get one player whom most ranked in the second or third tier of talent is a best pick?

If Tebow ends up convulsing in a trauma ward in the next few days, I have to wonder if ESPN wouldn't sponsor a candle-light vigil for him in Connecticut.
