Will they go with a vet RB instead?

I just say a report talking about a possible trade to bring Derrick Henry to Dallas. They also mentioned several other vet RB's that Dallas could bring in.

Bill Barnwell of ESPN argues that if the Titans are looking to move on, then the Dallas Cowboys could be the best fit for him.
The Cowboys have Tony Pollard as the top back on the depth chart but clearly aren’t afraid of utilizing two capable running backs in a committee.

"With the 2023 NFL draft set to take place in just a few weeks, a trade involving Henry could happen sooner than most think. If no trade takes place, there’s a chance he’s released."

“The Cowboys could look toward a market that still includes Leonard Fournette, Latavius Murray and Kareem Hunt unsigned. There’s also a chance expensive veterans such as Derrick Henry and Dalvin Cook could be released after the draft,” writes Barnwell. “Dallas could add a rookie in April’s draft, but Pollard’s uncertain status for Week 1 leads me to believe the team would probably prefer to have a more experienced back on the roster,”

I think adding Henry, Cook or Hunt would be a nice addition. As ling as it was for a good price and only for a couple of years at most.
What do y'all think about this?

I don't know why but it just seems like Henry belongs in Pittsburgh for some reason

Click bait.

Do a Google search on "Derrick Henry trade". There are an infinite number of "articles" with some type of Henry linked to some type of trade.

I would have liked Kareem Hunt over Ronald Jones.
I don't think the door is shut on Hunt. At this point it makes sense for Dallas or any team to just wait until after the draft to pursue Hunt if they so choose. Jones is a fairly cheap veteran pick up at this time who is not guranteed a spot on the roster. He can be cut with little impact on the cap this season. Depending on the how the draft goes, I foresee the running back position to be somewhat fluid this season for Dallas.

Derrick Henry should be in serious conversation. He is still a premier RB and I think is still the best in the NFL

I think if we whiff on a back in the draft that it's possible they look at another vet. I can't see trading or paying for Henry. Love the player .... but that just doesn't seem to make $ sense.
