Will wade back next year?

I'll take my chances with Garrett,i've seen enough of Wades' dog and pony show.

I remember people saying the same thing about Switzer 12 years ago and when he quit things didn't exactly get better.

the only thing about Wade today that has me ticked off is the attitude.

it seemed like the majority of the team came out with not much motivation today, almost like they were content with winning that playoff game last week and that anything else was just icing on the cake.

That is why Wade needs to go. He is a terrible motivator.

i don't know what will happen or what needs to happen with the coaches, but if Wade is gone i have concerns over what would happen with the defense.
You do not keep a bad head coach just because he is a good DC.

Yeah but the difference is Jimmy went out and fixed the problems. Come opening day next season, we probably put the same 5 O-Lineman out there. This OL wears down late in the year. We've seen it for the past few seasons. I think more than anything that's been the reason for our late season woes.

Jimmy and his staff had draft say. He drafted guys to play on OL that didn't suck but they took time to win starting jobs for the most part.

Where he hit was in drafting Erik Williams in 1991. That dude was a beast day 1 and dominated the Eagles(who he always got up to play as a Philly guy himself).
Drafting Big E meant Nate could slide in at LG and that line gelled into a beast!

We need one Pro Bowl caliber OL, probably a LT. Flo could start 3 or 4 more years as a RT or LG.

So, yea, go out and draft Erik Williams! :)

rofl.

The team was plenty motivated and played their best football in the first quarter.

Having less talent was Wade's downfall not motivation.

There isn't a single head coach who would have won us that game today.
We simply couldn't block anyone on that Vikes DL.

Things can always get worse, that is a given.I'm just willing to take my chances and go in a different direction.

Todays loss today was the same type of loss that Dallas sufferred in Philly last year and in some ways resembled the loss to the Giants in 2007.

It really is that simple.

But not enough for the knee jerk crowd.

Then we might as well give up on this team the oline is older not going to get better and there is only one player behind it that can start on the line

So if we fire Wade then who is his replacement? Jason Garrett? Pffttt you guys are only fooling yourself. Jerry had no intention of firing Wade after winning a playoff game. And if he so happens to fire him, you can bet your butts that Jason Garrett will be our head coach. I don't know about you but a lot of pop warner teams are better then him.

Give it up. Our offense was beaten badly today. Our defense was in a bad position the entire game. In fact, if it weren't for our defense this year I don't think we could have made the playoffs. If you really wanna get rid of someone get rid of Jason Garrett and Hudson Houck. That was the worst executed offensive showing in years and we didn't even adjust until the game was out of reach.

Garrett is a terrible play caller so I hope there are some changes.

If only Garrett had worked out some secret plays that didnt require an OL to actually block somebody.

Damn him. Surely any of 500 other coaches can create those plays, I cant wait to get that person here.

Our LT was out, our RT was less tha 100% It happens Free should start next year and we will upgrade our OLine through the draft.

You want to give up, fine.

Didnt see anything wrong with the playcalling.

If you cant block anybody, there are no magic plays to erase that. Our OL was just flat our awful. Those guys gave us absolutely no chance today.

This.

I'm definitely for extending Wade's contract, making a few additions and subtractions here and there, and seeing what happens in '10.

But if we can't get past the divisional round after that, it's time for big changes.

Sure they could. Keep telling yourself that. And then we'll get Garrett has head coach and go 8-8.

OK, so basically you are saying WP has this team playing like they should. I am sorry I disagree, A good coach with this much talent should have more than 1 playoff win, and don't forget we were the 1st seed in 2007.

I think Wade should be fired for the decision to go for the 48 yard FG on fourth and one in the first quarter.

Game over, right there.

Not that the Cowboys had the chops to be the Vikings anyway...but man oh man, that was a bad decision.

The FG kicker hasn't shown he's a given at that distance...in fact, the FG kicker hadn't shown anything...

The Vikings couldn't stop the Cowboy's offense at that point.

Bad message to send to the team.

Two plays later, the Vikings had the long TD to Rice.

And it ain't second guessing on my part cuz I flipped when I saw him sending the fg unit out.

You are absolutely right!!

I have cursed about this in three different threads now because i am still so darn mad that the head coach of my football team would make such a terrible decision.

I am just disgusted and he should be fired for that alone.

Terrible just terrible.
