Wilson Ramos Kidnapped: Nationals Catcher Abducted in Venezuela

Wilson Ramos, the catcher for the Washington Nationals baseball team, has been kidnapped by armed men from his home in Venezuela.
Ramos, 24, was abducted and taken away Wednesday evening in an SUV by four men in Santa Ines, in central Carabobo, according to a Twitter post made by a Katherine Vilera, a spokesman for Ramos’ Venezuelan League team, the Aragua Tigers.

If they did this for money, pretty sure they picked the wrong guy. He's got like no money (signed as an undrafted amateur, made $415K last year, before taxes and expenses I'd be surprised if he's got over $100K in the bank, probably has significantly less).

They are all considered to be part of continent of North America. Those countries just make up the subcategory of Central America. I hear Costa Rica is a great place to visit.
