They all have issues and one OS is not safer than the other it is about footprint on who the hackers decided to hack. The Iphone is one of the most hacked devices know because it has a large footprint.

Do not buy into I am safe because I use this keep it patched and be careful.

Correct for the most part.

Hackers used to go for what was biggest at the time...at one time it was UNIX systems because that was what most used in business, gov and so on.

However some are more susceptible to hacking due to active x and some other programs.

So both arguments are correct to a point.

The bigger or more widely used programs get the most attention, however there are some that are better at securing ports and software issues than others.

lol, I love that people keep making this comparison like AOL wasn't an absolute smash at that time. AOL completely redefined the way people socialized on the internet. For a lot of people, that AOL screen WAS the internet.

Also AOL was an ISP and that was basically an internet portal/browser.

Windows has a browser but it is an operating system.

Just because the GUI looks the same does not mean a hill of beans concerning two different types of programs.

With that said...I don't like the look at all and hope they have switchable options.

I still use XP and even with that I have the classic view on my start menu:laugh2:
