Wow... Leaving Wisconsin, where you have full support of the athletic department for Oregon St.
I guess he wanted to be closer to home, it is where the heart is for most.

Guess we know why Wisconsin slept walk through the big 10 title game.

He's a good coach. He gets it. Plays tough, physical in the trenches football.

Nobody wants to stay at Wisconsin. The previous coach(Bret Bielema) went to Arkansas just a couple years ago.

He has western roots
This has to be some sort of life-style choice.

Wisconsin has the far better football program and overall school reputation.
Madison is even a cool campus. But man it gets cold there.
I think average temps in the winter in Corvallis are about 20 degrees higher on average. The countryside is really pretty there too.

Going from Wisconsin to Oregon...I doubt it had much to do with the weather. :D

Nope, probably not.

It is rainy in Oregon. It also gets cold, but not as brutally cold as Wisconsin gets. Both places are great to visit during the summer months.

Pac12 is the better conference for recruiting. Much more difficult to win though. Lots of good QBs and Head Coaches.
