I know it probably won’t be Bell replacing JK, but I kind of wish it would be. I think that guy has some special qualities and can be a good one. He brings the wood when he arrives at the ball carrier, and moves like a much smaller player. Really good movement skills. Seems to have good football IQ too.

I seriously doubt it’ll be him though. He just hasn’t been here long enough.

I’ll say this, if it is Bell, then we really found something.

After the way Mukuamo played in the preseason games you would have to think he’s next in line assuming he’s past his injury!

May play more traditional three-linebacker sets w/LVE, Parsons and Barr. Barr would kind of take on the Kearse role and allow us to easily slip into a five-man line with Parsons coming up.

You’re probably right. I just think Bell has more potential but the coaches will definitely know better than me.

The only reason I thought it might be Bell as a rookie is because Mukuamu doesn’t have a ton more experience than him.

Still, if I had to guess, I’d probably say Mukuamu would be first up.

That’s possible but I hope not. They’re going to need the coverage against Burrow and company, IMO. I’m sure they’ll use both depending on the situation.

It might be a little more of the traditional 43 than it would with JK. That’s one reason I kind of want it to be Bell because that guy is terrific in the run game.

Oh well… We will just have to wait and see how Quinn plays it. It’ll be interesting and will tell us a little bit about how he feels about some of the players.

I didn’t really notice anything special about Bell, he looked to be just a bit better than the other UDFA safeties. Mukuamo on the other hand looked light years past what he did last preseason… like he was ready or close anyway to being the heir apparent to Kearse’s role! Coarse you get him out their vs actual NFL players and he could **** the bed!

3 traditional LB gives me zero confidence in DQ's base big nickel scheme.

Especially vs a high powered passing offense.

Haha, Just because you seem to have been right on Bohanna doesn’t mean you’re always right (though it does lend credibility).

However, to be clear, I never said Ridgeway would be better than Bohanna (or vice versa). I honestly didn’t have much of an opinion on either of them one way or the other. I just asked how you knew Bohanna would be the better of the two. I though you might have heard or read something that I had missed.

Anyway, having said that, you could be right about this as well, lol.

Can we please replace MM with Quinn?
You know, a actual coach.

Do not rush him back too soon is all I ask.

A desperate Jerry is very dangerous for our team's long term health.

I appreciate you finding this man. It sounds like both will play some.

If you want run support, Bell is better than Mukuamu and Kearse for that matter. He loves the contact and is very physical.

It’ll be interesting to see how Quinn uses them.
