... the New Orleans Saints pick ...

D'Brickshaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia

With all the nonsense Bush is pulling up, NO will shop the #2 pick. But there won't be any takers. Asking price is too high.

Finally, with a second left on the clock, the Saints pull the 2nd upset of the day, and pick Ferguson over Bush.

Titans will take Vince Young.

GB and NY Jets will swap picks. GB will take Bush.

Jet's will take Leinert.

SF takes AJ Hawk.

I think Bush ends up going 2.

But if he is there at 4 there is zero chance the Jets trade out of there.

No way in heck do the Jets pass on Bush if they have a chance to land him. Just my opinion. I still think he goes #2 though.

Yeah, I think he goes #2 also.

But if he doesn't, I have it writing that I made the prediction.

So basically, if I throw around enough stupid predictions, one will hit and I look like a genius. ha ha

But I still to my predictions ... NO will pass on Bush.

I have the Packers moving up to #2 to get him in my mock. The deal will be along the lines of #5, Javon Walker and their second for the #2.

The Saints will improve their offense with Walker, their defense by taking Hawk at #5 (If Hawk is gone to TN or NYJ, that means either Ferguson is still on the board or all the QBs).

The Packers get an offensive player to build around with Favre gone after this year.

No way the Saints are that stupid....no way....Ferguson would be an even bigger joke than taking Williams....the Saints would have to move down if that's who they really wanted.

if NO passes on bush then its a huge mistake, not for the quality of the player bush is but for the rebuilding of that team and that fanbase. it would be much much easier with reggie bush there. He is the golden egg in more ways than one.

On Sportcenter, Mort just said that NO was trying to get a deal done with Bush. FWIW anyway.

If I'm New Orleans, I'm holding on to Bush all night long.

:)
