preperation....i seriously think with all this we could very well be looking at a 12-4 maybe even better team....if you watch the games we lost, we were just outcoached, same D all the time(send 3, drop back in zone)...we just never were prepared

thats why im kind of glad we cleared the top 3 jobs(HC,DC,OC)

Newman shouldnt be playing zone in the flat or in 1 certain area..hes better used man 2 man...we all know roy cant have a deep zone all to hisself...and expect him to lockdown..Keith Davis? no excuse just cut him or keep him on special teams....Watkins? dont blitz henry or line him up with a WR with no pass rush...Henry..dont send 3 and expect him to lock down fot 6 secs..the front seven we all already know

Basically im glad were probally going to get somebody in here that will use our talents...and be stuck on thier old school ways:)

with the right playcalling, preparation, and in some cases execution, we should have been that good this year

I hear ya TNew....

I gotta tell ya....

Belichick sums up wins and losses the best "they made more plays than we did" after a loss and "we just made a few more plays than they did after a win" - - I do believe its that simple....

Change was needed and we are getting that change.

It is that simple I belive... its why I havent really been PRO or ANTI any of the canidates... we are getting 3 new guys and thats exactly what we needed.

We are not far away from being a serious contender. If we get Rivera and/or Singletary then I like our chances long term

It all comes down to who we get and how well they do. It could be better or it could be worse.

the truth hurts

predicting a record for next year is craziness.

We have a very difficult schedule next year.

I cant wait to see what happens with those 10 draft picks this year.

1. We will trade down early and up late
2. Ppl will complain about our first pick (maybe rightfully so)
3. We will cut at least 2 of them
4. The one guy who we think will be a late round steal will get hurt
5. We will NOT draft a free safety

Predicting the difficulty of next year's schedule is just as crazy as predicting a record.

we'll be fine with either of them as well as Norv, Wade Phillips, or even Garrett

as someone else pointed out, our play calling and scheming were bad on both sides of the ball...we needed new people all the way around, and we're getting it

saying we have a difficult schedule, today...is craziness

you dont know what teams will be better or worse right now, nor do you know how things will play out with injuries

if we stay healthy, I think its VERY reasonable to expect a 11-5 or 12-4 type season

David

Saying the team was "outcoached" in each loss is a little off, don't ya think? I mean, you can think it but you can't really say that is THE reason why the team lost in each case can you?

All we needed this year was execution, it was hardly the fault of the play calling (in the overwhelming majority of intstances).

This team lost to the Lions... 12-4 is not in their near future! BP the coach made BP the GM look better than he is!!!

Is this a typo.
Do you really think Bill's coaching staff was better than his personel dept?
You may be the one member of this forum with that opinion.

I think they are 12-4 next year. I'm confident they improve on 9-7.
