Gut feeling is that one of three players will be there for them: LaPorta, Matthew Bergeron or Zach Charbonnet.

If Avila drops then you have to run that one to the podium. Both lines would be fortified after the first two rounds and that is a pretty big win.

Agreed. But I do feel a few guys could start LG for us later in the draft if Avila is gone

Braden Daniels, Utah
Anthony Bradford, LSU
Emil Ekiyor, Alabama
Antonio Mafi, UCLA
Jordan McFadden, Clemson

I think the OL will be gone, and then RB/TE would be reaches. Best value is probably going to be WR. Who knows how the board will go, but Mingo, Tillman, Hyatt, Mims, Reed and Downs should all be in play, to varying degrees.

At CB, Brents and Stevenson wouldn't surprise me at all.

Trade up for Mingo would not surprise me at all if he falls into the 40s.

The board may be pretty grim at 58. You have to hope you get lucky and a Diggs caliber player falls to you. “Luck” should not be a strategy though. The team said they had several players with similar grades at their pick. Typically, a professional Front Office would be working their behinds off to get back up to try to get one of those players with a similar grade.

The Cowboys have not been great at manuevering up and down the draft board. Jerry is too eager and Stephen is too stingy. Bad combo. And before a fan boy talks about trading down from 10 to 12 when they took Parsons, the Eagles initiated that deal and overpaid to jump the Giants for D. Smith.

I would love to trade up but we might lose our 3rd Rd pick which could be someone like Kendre Miller.
