It's funny. My wife (native NYer) has the same view. Yet everyone I've ever met who isn't from NY believes otherwise. I think it's just a NYer complex. They think, therefore they are...to themselves only of course.

btw, the only NY news paper that has the name "New York" in it's name that isn't nothing more than an National Enquirer type paper is the NY Times.

NY Daily News, NY Post, etc are nothing but trashy news papers. The DMN is a more respected news paper.

Well that's a given. But even so. How can baseball fix this? Even when the Cowboys aren't close to being involved, the playoffs and superbowl will pull in great ratings. But for MLB, if your city isn't involved, they don't see to waste their time with the sport until April comes around. It's a great sport with great games (every day) but yet the allure of the sport has went down very fast the last 20 years.

They are a big draw because both teams draw boat loads of front runner fans. As do the Lakers and the Redwings.

That's the truth.

I think you, myself and a group of CowboysZoners could throw together a paper that has more credibility than those crappy papers. The New York Post is one step up from the Real World in print and half of what they put as "news" is bogus.
