I bet my friend when the Cowboys played the Giants that the Cowboys wouldn't lose because Zeke Elliott hadn't lost a road game in 7 years. The bet was that the loser would have to where either a Giants T-Shirt or a Cowboys hat, take a picture, and have it be their facebook photo for the rest of 2016 (it was like three weeks)
The Cowboys lost the bet and I was forced to follow through. I was humiliated and I hadn't seen people so happy since we got Osama Bin Laden.
I instantly seek some vengeance. I talk her into doubling down on the bet. I told her we should bet the same bet, but which team goes further in the playoffs. Mind you, the Cowboys were heavy favorites for the #1 seed, but had not yet clinched the division.
The Cowboys clinched the division while the Giants fell apart at the end of the year, giving me a huge advantage.
I offered her an out of only having to do this for 6 months instead of the 12 last night, but her boyfriend convinced her to go through with the bet since he thought the Cowboys wouldn't win. I pointed out that the Cowboys did not need to win, but she still listened to him.
