Wonder why Romo did not play

We had game in 4th, seemed like a good opportunity to get him some playing time.

Yes he should have gotten at least the last series or so.

Goodness, you might make a case that Drew and Al needed to be working on the snap exchange.

Anybody watch Cowboys Huddle this morning?

They talked about backup QBs. BP said he would feel comfortable with Romo if need be. Said Henson was coming along as well and getting reps with the scout team, but not much with first team. Not enough snaps.

Pretty clear what the pecking order is there. Romo is the clear cut #2 and it didn't really sound like Henson was really even in the mix. I am still confused how Henson could surpass Romo last year and then fall off that much in one offseason.

Bill just likes to run out the clock rather then letting a game linger on with unnecessary passes

Backups can hand the ball off as well.

Not that I am complaining but it would not have hurt to get Romo a few snaps.

Well, we changed the fumbled snap trend a little today, had it in the second half instead of the first. The field goal curse of our opponents never missing continues.

Did you watch any of the preseason games? Romo earned the job with his performance on the field.
