Also, he didn't score the world cup clinching goal. That was iniesta.

i agree that messi is the best player in the world. but xavi is the best player at his position. and canucks is right, iniesta scored the only goal in the game from a feed from cesc fabregas

you're right, was reading world soccer at the turn of the year and they gave him their player of the year award, somehow got it in my mind it was the fifa award. as for the goal: xavi, iniesta i guess incredibly gifted short barcelona midfielders seem alike when you're drunk watching the world cup final and thinking back with a hazy memory to a game that lets be honest was pretty dull and in need of some alcohol to get through. poor defence but the only one i've got
