Worst Song Lyrics

I know there's been a thread about lyrics before but listening to the Pearl Jam video in the Eddie Vedder thread had me wondering.........well, it was actually a Kanye West song that got me thinking this.

What song has one of the worse lines ever?

I'm gonna submit "Never Let Me Down" by Kanye West.

In a song that is otherwise really good Kanye comes in with this line,

"But I know they don't want me in the damn club, they even make me show ID to get inside of Sam's Club"

Every time I hear this I can't but think, "yeah, you and every other member who walks in the doors".

Oh yeah, and I do not know the song, only heard it one time when my kids were listening to it. I think it is by Puff Daddy, or whatever he calls himself.

Something about being famous and money hanging out of his anus.

Ugh, almost describes everything I dislike about music that comes out nowadays. Repeat the same line 100x, auto-tuned, stupid lyrics, the works.

LOL I used to like that song. I was very young though, so I had no idea what the song really meant (still don't).

I couldn't agree more. My answer was going to be "all rap on the radio these days"...what irks me even more, is the BEP's were good circa 2002. One of the best hip-hop shows I've been to. They have NO CONNECTION to hip-hop anymore. NONE WHATSOEVER.
