Im thinking about going to school for something history related as i love history in every form. however i know the job market for "history" majors isnt very good right now as teaching jobs arent that numerous in many places in the country and theres not much else you can do with it, that i know of.

so ive been considering archaeology and anthropology as possibilities but i was wondering if any of you know of any other degrees to go after that have a good job market behind them, or any other jobs you can get with a history degree, thanks so much for anything info you can provide.

Sorry. I thought you were just looking for a job to apply a history degree. No problem though.

that was kind of my point though actually, a history degree really doesnt have many job opportunities behind it. its hard to go to school for something you love when you know the only jobs would be things you wouldnt need the degree to do anyways.

of course if im way off base here id love for someone to let me know but i just have trouble coming up with career ideas when doing my research for what a history degree is good for.
