Would a kickoff specialist help us?

I noticed the steelers doing this and it works pretty well.The kickoff guy is booming them into the endzone and thats a lot of yardage saved.A lot of our injuries are to special teams contributers.Even if for just a few games.Discuss.

Who are you willing to cut or what position do you want to short to make room?

I thought you meant a Kick off return specialist man.... we don't need to keep 2 kickers I hated those days.

My thought exactly on 2 kickers. And please correct me if I am wrong, but what I saw on coverage had nothing to do with our kicker. He was booming kicks deep in the end zone and they choose to run out. maybe be cause they see that our coverage team is weak. From what I saw there was no containment and no one staying in the lanes. To much bunching up and tripping over each other. That is my thoughts on the matter and again I say Folks did his job well IMO. Thanks

the coach Read blames him for the return woes and he doesn't get 2 many touch backs.

supposedly he was hitting line drives and that was effecting the coverages but the distance was really good

regular season they don't return those most of the time

thats true it looked like pop warner trying to field a kick.

yea I don't buy that.

The first one was a line drive but that wasn't the only reason for the long return. The kick and the coverage sucked.
