Would Cundiff have missed the FG if Glenn was OB?

I just watched the tape of the NFL Network "Game of the Week". Cundiff barely made his first FG, and it was a 24 yarder. Sick looking kick. His next kick is blocked from 32 yards, again a low sick effort. Then he blows the 33 yarder to tie the game (notes: Ken Lucas clearly runs into his leg and that ball never changed directions after the kick, the refs got it right).

I know that we were on the 2 yard line. I know that's basically an extra point. But I think Cundiff was a complete and utter basket case at that point and if Glenn can't get his feet down BP might have gone for it. If it were left up to Cundiff I say he chokes again and our season ends that way. Just MO.

I think had Glenn not made the catch Dallas would have kicked the ball once again. Who knows? Fortunately it did not come down to that.

They kept showing Cundiff on the sideline after the missed kick, and he looked like he was about to cry at the thought of having to try another FG.

The NFL channel showed a close up of him on the field right before the kick and he looked scared to death. He knew he was gonna miss that kick, fortunately they ran into him. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, thought he was gonna cry. His confidence is totally gone...

For the first time I really saw the resemblance so many others have pointed out between Billy and the kid who starred in 'The Sixth Sense". Cundiff wore the same look as the poor boy who was haunted by visions of malevolent ghosts: terrified.

Only Bill Parcells wasn't going to be as sympatico as Bruce Willis, so it's a toss up as to what Billy really feared.
