Would you have made this trade if you're the Cowboys?

And he is on the last year of his deal.

If you can extend him, I'd consider it.

Otherwise, no. Not for a one year rental.

IF you think you are going to do a real SB run this year, and you are weak at pass rushing, yeah.
But other than that....
The guy is going to want to get paid

With this team....no

Would have a great trade for the 2014 or 2016 teams that were very good but had no pass rush. This is a 9-8/8-9 team and Juden isnt changing that much. For a middling team, I don't think it makes sense to give up a top 90 pick for a 31 year old player in a walk year. Even as good as Judon is

32 years old ( today is his birthday),
contract year,
better suited for 3-4.

No!

And the topic of the thread was should the Cowboys have made the trade.

Try to keep up.
I'm always caught up. Literally any transaction made in the NFL on a daily basis could be a "would you have made this trade if you're the Cowboys" or "would you have picked up this player if your the Cowboys" thread.

The Fan Zone would be full of nothing but those kinds of threads. That isn't the intended purpose of it. Hey I could be wrong. Why don't you PM the boss and ask him.

No!
Also, it is not a guarantee that the Pats would have accepted a 3rd round pick from Dallas. It may have taken more to make the deal to get him to the Cowboys.
