With Chicago we get their 9th 75th 123 and Eddie Jackson for Micha
we would then have 9th 24 75 88 123 174 202 213 then next years 5th
if so who would you draft?

This is just an offseason what if and it’s for fun Please don’t trash me this is for kicks and would really like your insights to build this team

I don’t think I’d be in the business of trading an all pro on a rookie contract at a premium position creating a need at DE…then hoping I can draft a DE that is close to being as good as he is.

I don't see the logic in going into the 2024 season with the same DL and not Micah Parsons. And the draft never goes the way we want it to go so don't count on hitting a home run in this draft.

They need to get better on defense, especially stopping the run. I'll say tit again, this team cannot stop the run and get pressure on the passer at the same time. If they move Micah off ball the QB pressures disappear and the opponents will each us a live throwing the football. Micah should be moving around to take advantage of the weaknesses of the offense instead of the offense taking advantage of the defensive weaknesses.

IMO, if they get an inside threat on the DL, it will help Micah who will be able to rush from inside or outside. The goals has to be to get more pressure anyway they can, while being able to keep the OL off the LBs.

The Bears are putting out hype videos of Justin Fields today. The 1st overall pick is definetely for sale.

This won't happen, but I would consider Dak for 9 and 75 with Fields.

Wouldn't it be better for the Bears to just draft Laitu Latu from UCLA and keep their draft picks.

Bo Nix? Woof.
Bo Nix? With the 9th overall pick? You Dak haters are super desperate and ignorant. Bo Nix has played for 5 college seasons (3 with Auburn; 2 with Oregon), yet he's still has question marks and is an unfinished product. Oregon had to simplify their traditional passing playbook just so Bo Nix could be able to function. Shows he's lacking both mentally and fundamentally, plus has limits on what kinds of passes he can/can not make.

For this, I would rather keep Dak. Bo Nix with all of his questions after 5 years of playing college football for 2 big college programs has lots of red flags all over him.

In the real world I agree I wouldn’t trade Micha and I would go into FA and get Micha some help I have the feeling we will resign Hankins but he still needs help

I would insist on two first round picks and an additional pick or picks for Micah. 9th pick this year and a 1st round pick next year from Chicago and a 3rd or 4th, and I would ship Micah out.

Theoretically, you should get an impact player at 9. You might even be able to trade back a spot or two for a high pick and still get a targeted player. That 9th overall pick should be a Micah caliber player.

Why would I do that? I think Micah will eventually get injured and he is going to be a cap killer all by himself. Micah is awesome. But is he better than two high first round picks and change? IDK.

But I will say this: If you are trading Micah you want to be sure to be able to get an impact player at 9 -13 or you don’t make the trade.

If I trade Micah I’m selecting a DT with one of those first round pick to replace him gotta keep the pressure up. Don’t want to regress there.

Chase Young is garbage

We basically trade an elite pass rusher for a #2 WR, and now probably have one of the weakest pass rushes in the NFL

I wouldn't trade Micah but if I have the #9 pick in the draft I'm taking a LT.
