Garrett Wilson of the Jets. He’s from an Ohio st environment that didn’t experience all this losing . Besides he feels left out of the offense since Adams came over in the Las Vegas trade .

Many on this board have wanted speed opposite Lamb and Wilson checks all the boxes of a receiver who has NFL experience however his rookie contract is ticking away at some point he’s going to want to cash in on his lottery ticket .
Dallas at about slot 15 round one for the Buckeyes Wr turned disgruntled Jet .

Didnt Sunday kind of eliminate the theory that there's a problem with our WR room?

I would consider it. Garrett is better than any receiver in this draft. The problem is I think he is up for a new contract. Next season will be his 4th year.

Intriguing, me boy, intriguing.
But, kind lad, this squalid seaason has not yet ended and it is so early to think about a trade or signing.
Now that the Boys have lessened our Draft standing, the job at hand is to exact some satisfaction from the Egirls.
Batter them and make a statement, me Cowboys!

I seem to be in the minority thinking, use the WR already on the roster . Others think they are not enough . I want this pick at 1 to go to a D disrupter .
So let's put it another way. Sunday highlighted that a WR isn't in the list of our top 5 needs.

No, not cause of the player, but cause of his upcoming contract. Heard he wants 30 million and he isn’t a top 5 receiver, no thanks

Totally agree. The only thing the WR corp lacks is a real burner. I'm not convinced that is what's holding the offense back and don't think it's worth burning a 1st rounder on one. There are far bigger needs.

Lamb contract may prevent this move although Wilson may have as much talent as any receiver in the draft a drafted WR would be on a rookie contract for Dallas .

I would do it. Garrett is elite. Garrett compliments Lamb well. Worry about the contract later.

I think the delivery system ( QB 1 & HC/OC ) are what’s holding this receiver corp back more then talent . Drafting yet another receiver doesn’t change that . Also Turpin has “ speed “ so does Cooks .

He is good, but far from elite and not worth that type of contract. Remember jets do out and get Adams to help their passing game

That is because of Rodgers. Something seemed off between the two. Garrett Wilson is better than any free agent or draft pick. It’s not even close. He would move all our Wide outs to their right positions. Can you imagine Turpin with the right offensive coordinator with teams scared to death of Lamb and Wilson. Offense would be in top 5 again.

It’s tempting he’s a talent no doubt wasted in NY . Can Jerry juggle the cap with Parsons coming up as well . Other teams seemed to have figured out how to keep and or acquire top talent contracts .

The Joneses need to do their jobs. Make the Cowboys a better football team. If he is available the Joneses need to look into it.
