instead of signing terrell owens, kyle kosier and jason fabini, we had kept keyshawn johnson and signed steve hutchinson?

Keyshawn getting cut was mostly a matter of a salary escalation, iirc. I doubt we would have kept him unless he restructured.

P-P in the wind buddy.

Hutch was never coming here, he wanted to go to Minnesota and they broke the bank for him.

Couldn't Dallas have signed both T.O. and Hutchinson? Signing T.O. did not prevent Dallas from taking more steps to address the O-line.

You DO remember how much Minnie paid for Hutchinson, right?

You know, that's a good question!

I like questions like yours....

I even question myself for marrying my x-wife...but, I did, and I cannot change the fact that she got the Gold while I got the shaft...

But, it makes no sense trying to question what happened in the past...because it's the past, and it will not change.

See ABQCOWBOY's response....

Hutchinson alone would not have fixed the line. There are more holes on the line.

Rivera is done. He isn't just sucky, but he isn't solid either.

Most players take over a full year to recover from an ACL injury. Well, big guys like Flozell probably will take longer and from the looks of it, he is struggling. I don't think he can fully be evaluated this season because I don't think he is completely recovered. Maybe he will never be.

I don't know if Dallas could have truly landed Hutchinson, but it sure didn't look as if they tried very hard to give more and better options to their o-line problems.

um, HELLO!!! the point was that dallas made the wrong fixes. this is simply a comparison of different possibilities.

I would never go back now and take away the dimension TO has added to this team. I just couldn't go through another year of the apparently unapparent disappearance act of the quickly tackled Terry Glenn being our go to guy; he's like a RB that can't be counted on for those 20+ carries a game for 16 weeks. Or the predictable 5-15yard trot then fall of a Keyshawn. All TO has to do is catch the ball and it's a needle full of adrenaline straight to the heart of this entire organization, let alone what he does with the ball after catching it. We haven't had that since Irvin left. Lightning in a bottle and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Besides, what could 1 player on the OL really do to fix that headache? Unless he's got some magical elixar that could instantly mold the other 4 guys on that line into play as one unit, not worth it. Make that a keep Allen, sign Hutch, sign Bentley and draft one of the studs in the first round, then maybe we could talk.

exactly what i was thinking at school today, and maybe sign that tackle that went to the browns, schaffer?
