i don't understand why bill was picking thoise guys back i 96, just bad coaching i guess, oh wait he was'nt working here and half those guys in the later years where gone before we ever picked but i guess thats bill's fault too.

I think years like 1997 make it pretty clear why some folks hate first round WRs. But the issue is more likely about how long it takes the guys to develop. Few have an impact as rookies.

there are an unbelievable number of busts in there when you consider they were all first round picks.

There is a huge percentage of playmakers taken in the first round, almost all of these WRs competed at a top level in the pros, many their rookie season.

So looking at it now we see the only time we missed was taking Elliss over Moss, but there were issues that came into play in that decision

2002 we could have had javon Walker but I rather have Roy

Notice not one time did Parcells let a reciever go by that was worth a damn
