At the time full speed initially sure looked like a penalty . They replayed it over and over like Zapruder and sure if you slow it down maybe it was shoulder pad to pad not helmet to helmet but refs don’t have the luxury of rewinding the play , games are 3 hrs already .

Greg Olsen the ex Panther carried on about it . I thought it was a penalty of a hit on a defenseless receiver . Lamb tough as nails just dusts himself off and gets up . Later in the game Donovan Wilson was it , lays out a Panther receiver and Olsen screamed
for a flag .

I thought that one looked like a clean hit . Weird . Maybe I was thinking like a Cowboy fan . The less flags the better I feel about the whole league

two things is going on at the same time.

the business of the NFL, vs the fans that want to enjoy the product.

so many fingers are in one product you cant please them all.

you actually dont watch a football game anymore, its commercials broken up by a football game.

Clean hits, dirty hits, it doesnt have a standard, its , what is it at this moment vs who is it against.

Enjoy what you can, dont lose your head over what it ll be. It is a big juggarnaught that only a hand full have final say over.

Both were clean, but I agree with Olsen (maybe someone else said it) that with today's ability for expedited reviews they need to add those hits to the list. They can review it quickly and let the officials wave off the flag if they find it to be legal. That 15 yards can be important.

The hit on Lamb full speed did look brutal . I’m glad Xavier Woods is someone else’s safety now not a Cowboy anymore. He was in the vicinity of both the Tolbert TD and Brooks TD . All in all he was terrible .

Man I’m totally against more replays . The second guessing involved is just too much . On that Cowboy hit was that Wilson . Pretty sure it was .

Even further proves PFF sucks because he's one of their highest grades safeties this year.

Xavier Woods ? Wow that’s something . He was out of position most of that Cowboy game pointing at others cursing the refs on that penalty .

Like it or not, officials are influenced by optics. Ramsey pulled a flop worthy making any soccer player jealous and got an OPI that wasn’t on Gallup. Lamb’s head snapped & that’s probably what the official reacted to. Wilson’s later hit didn’t have that element, so no flag.

I don't agree with you at all. Technology has advanced to the point where there is no need for officiating mistakes to affect the outcome of games. It's not about second-guessing; it's about getting it right. There's a whole lot they can get right because it's absolutely clear on the replay, while the official, as you said, is only seeing the play at full speed. Now, judgment calls should not be subject to review. But helmet contact is not a judgment call.

I hear you on replays but where does it end . How many plays are they “ going up the booth “ for review .

Oh no. We are treated unfairly.

Never said that . MM and the Boyz earn every single holding call false snap …I swear Parsons lines up in the neutral zone for laughs and a pass breakup is a hold your breath moment here comes the PI call . I heard rumor though MM is cleaning things up .

Fully agree. They seem to want to fix certain things but not others.

It’s impossible to ask refs to things perfectly right every time. There should be an extra ref in the booth with a monitor to reverse egregious calls on basically everything.

They claim it’s about length of the game, but yet theres time to review every scoring play and allow half the team to run to the end zone to celebrate a turnover.

What can it be besides wanting a certain amount of control to keep tvs on?

If the stinking NCAA can figure out targeting in a minute or two, the NFL with their money and gazillion camera angles can do the same thing. This isn't that hard.
