This won't stay in the Fan Zone long but I thought it would be good to provide a link to an article that explains several of the differences in rules between the NFL and XFL.

Smart, they seem to be hitting on the fans' biggest complaint about the NFL.

At times it gets way too bogged down with everything but gameplay. Less commercials, flags and huddling is a big win for me.

That was the Arena League's gimmick. Fast and lots of scoring.
They ended up losing, in the end, although they lasted longer than anyone trying to do the same thing.

Some of the rules are interesting, but they have too many gimmicks in things also.
I do not like they only have 2 TO’s per half. Those type of things they make different just to be different. That is not always good. But I guess it makes it more strategic..

Maybe but with game clock always running the pacing is faster. Sometimes i think NFL coaches think they have an eternity, how many times is a TO wasted due to play clock expiring.
