Mentioned in another thread I expect to see Carolina look to run the ball one big reason is I think Carolina knows the best way to defend Dallas is by having the Cowboys offense on the bench.

Offensively I think Carolina will look to win the time of possession game by high percentage passing and running the ball.

Defensively I would look to stop the Cowboys running attack, winning 1st down for Carolina is critical. Thus far Carolina has done very well in terms of pass rushing so for them winning early downs and putting Cowboys in must pass situation plays into what they want to do on defense.

I think Cowboys will win this game but I think Carolina will put up a bigger fight than some think.

Pound the ball into the middle....consistently, even when behind.

Keep Dallas offense off the field.

Philly did us a nice favor with the game plan they chose.

Realistically we should wipe the floor with them, but it's the NFL and the second you take a win for granted you get picked off.

Hopefully they have to worry about this guy and Micah both since Cam Erving is their LT

Pretty simple attacking our defense. Run up the middle where Jaylon is and then crossing routes and passing over the middle of the field where Jaylon is. Jaylon has been bad in coverage and it showed again last week with both TE's averaging over 20 ypc. Not sure why they didnt go to it early and often. Then of course I would attack Brown deep and underneath.

With their defense they need to stop the run #1. With Gallup and Cooper hurting the running game has been killing people. Good luck with that.

I think Cowboys win. However I tend to always try to see things from opposing teams perspective. If I had to face the Cowboys with the players on that Carolina roster, how would I do it?

Run the ball, short passes, eat clock. We aren't going to out gun Dallas, so we'd darn well better keep the ball out of their hands. Efficiency, ball control. A 4 yard run on 1st down is a great play. I'll get about 3-4 shots, need to hit 50% on those.

On defense, i'm mixing my coverages and including a least a few exotic fire zone blitzes. Dak hasn't seen some of those weird Blitz packages the AFCN used to run in the 2000s - give him something new to worry about. I need 2 turnovers from my defense.

Go watch the Saints game. I haven't seen all of it but what I did see, they took advantage of the LB core of the Saints a lot with TE and Backs. Now their best back is out and our LBers are better than NO, especially if you add in Parsons and Neal. I think their best best to is to attack the middle of the D.. run and or pass plays.. we have to much speed on the outside for them to take advantage of like they did in the Saints game. We stop the run and I think we can get to Darnold, he is much more sackable than any of the first 3 we played. If they keep Parsons at DE this game, he could get 2-3 sacks.

I agree, I really expect Philly to try and run more than they did. Hurts I believe had more rushing attempts than any of their RB. Cowboys were wearing down the philly defense and yet Philly never really tried to give their defense a break by running the ball. That was a welcome surprise.

Doom---i dont like we have 6 days rest and preparation to their 10 days....that should never happen when they schedule teams to play......big error

Generally forgotten about probably due to the result but the Goedert did gouge us for some big plays.

If they stayed with the run....or even started it....would probably have been a closer game.

Yah they got behind pretty quickly and early. They definitely should have run the ball a lot more and just kept throwing to the TE's. Ertz was playing great too.

That does suck but ball players tend to like having reg routines. For Dallas yes we played Monday night but our normal work routine was not altered much. Carolina did get the extra days but in the end I'm really not overly concerned with it.

I think most figure this game is going to be a close one. Carolina hasn't played any really good teams however they've beaten them solidly. Going to be a tough one for sure.

I think it will be close because I think Carolina will look to slow the pace of the game and run the clock as much as they can.

Pressure Dak. He likes to hold the ball sometimes. Don't give up bombs to Cedee or Cooper. Make Dak grind out long drives. Prove he can consistently make 3rd down throws, and score TD's. FG's are wins for CAR.

Power trap run game up the middle against Dallas Def. Try to iso Anderson on Brown. Use a lot of misdirection plays on Offense to confuse the young pups.

Try to draw up lays that forces 9 to make a tackle or cover someone.

Try to trade for one of Dallas TE's at the game.
Or on the way to the game kidnap one at the 7-11.
Tremble has been given the reigns. Arnold is gone. I would imagine they are shopping for a vet TE.

If I am Rhule, I tell Darnold this is exactly why I traded for him and this game is on him to outplay Prescott. The weakness of the Cowboys is pass defense and giving up big gainers.

Their defense is ranked well but that's also about who they've played and this is the most balanced offense they will have faced.

I tell my offense it is up to them to get up on Dallas and the crowd will sit on their hands. They cheer plays; they do not cheer for plays once they're down. It is the quietest stadium in the league when they're behind by 10. Have to get up fast on them and not take their foot off the pedal.

With McCaffery out, the strategy changes, he is the most important skill position player to his offense in the league and Chuba Hubbard isn't McCaffery. I air the hell out of the ball because TB beat the Cowboys doing that and LAC could have and PHL had a bad game plan and even poorer execution.

The Cowboys will win because the Panthers are not strong enough at the skill positions without McCaffery to execute that game plan. DJ Moore and Robbie Anderson are mid level WR's as are their TE's.
