You can blame the defense this week

The defensive performance is RIGHT THERE for some of you to blame for last night's loss and once again, yall want to use the Quarterback as your whipping boy. It's right there! Did Dan Quinn go to Cabo during the Bye? Why is his rush defense still a problem? Down two Touchdowns in the 4th quarter, Green Bay didn't feel any need to start passing. That, my friends, is a problem. Stop being such casual fans and looking for such an easy scapegoat. The same way they were committed to the run, we should have been more committed as well. There is no need for 46 pass attempts with CeeDee followed by a gimpy Gallup, and Schultz. The run was effective. Had that been Rush under center, Kellen would have ran 46 times, but I digress. See ya next week.

Yup, those 2 interceptions that led to 14 points were strictly on the defense…. But yeah, the defense blew chunks too

We had a 28-14 lead in the 4th quarter. None of the final 17 points came as a result of a turnover. Every game is a team effort, but the defense bears most of it from last night since they were handed a 14 point lead and couldn't hold it.

Well, thank God only the last 17 points counted in the final score:rolleyes:

Chicago exposed how to beat Dallas. Run, run and run.

I actually think it was a few gems prior. They were just fortunate to face some mediocre teams who couldn't quite carry it out over a full game due to poor personnel at key spots. But yeah the book is wide open now.

28-14 4th quarter 4th and 7. You can’t give up a touchdown on that play. Let them run the ball and eat the clock. The defense has to be smarter.

Yes, those two INT's hurt but I believe that's more of an issue of Dak being hurt. The communication/chemistry just isn't quite there yet. I'd like to think that as the season goes, it should improve. Also, Ceedee is a very good physical type of receiver but is he intelligent? I am seeing what appears to be mental mistakes that he keeps making. Is this intelligence or that he's still learning?

INTs hurt our offense, but GB still drove 67 yards for the TD.
They also drove 76 and 89 yards for TDs, running 3/4’s of the time on every one. Rodgers only threw 20 passes, completing only 14. Dak recovered from his mistakes and helped give us a 14 point fourth quarter lead. The meltdown and loss is squarely on the defense, in my opinion.

Yeah no. You guys are acting like Dak and co didn’t have numerous opportunities to at least score fieldgoals after the Packers got the two TD’s. They also had the ball first in OT and couldn’t even get a first down to get close enough for a TD. The defense certainly deserves blame too, but the offense was just as putrid as the defense. Both of them suck and are overrated.

Just a joke of a team.

No but the offense had a chance to step on GB after they cut it to 7 and did nothing. And then when GB tied it, the offense went out there and spit the bit again.

Yesterday's loss wasn't solely on the D. Sometimes, one side has to bail out the other. For much of hte year, the D has bailed out the offense. Yesterday, when the defense was scuffling, it was time for the O to step up in that 4th Q and they did nothing.

That was a team loss yesterday.
