I was typing a response in game thread about the stupid 1st and 2nd down runs up the middle with no FB that put the offense in a terrible position of 3rd and 11 on our end (The go ahead TD drive).

Suddenly a graphic popped up on ESPN that shocked me!

Yes, we all are blasting Dak or Mike or the OL for this struggling offense. We feel like it’s regressed.

Through first 6 games last season under Kellen in an offense we had run for years, we had scored only 9 TDs and had a 28% success converting 3rd downs. This year, our struggling offense has scored more TDs (11 I think…graphic was up only a minute) through the first 6 games than last year’s offense. Our current 3rd down conversion rate is 48% only 6 games into this offense. I’m shocked. It’s been such a struggle. Maybe there’s still hope we will keep improving.

Cooper rush was the starter for 5 of those first 6 games.

KM's offense only has worked great with Dak as the QB. It was bad to average with Dalton, Rush, and other QBs we had past few years. And from today's game, it doesn't look like it's anything special with Herbert either.

Hush. Kellen hung a hundred on us tonight.

Former Cowboy and future hall of famer Simi Fehoko said it was coming.

Good point, but how did we get better? Surely Dak didn’t make the difference. 85% of the guys on this site won’t stand for that analysis.
I think it’s more than fair to think Dak isn’t good enough to win a Super Bowl and wanting to look to the future. I am one of those people.

Anyone who thinks Dak isn’t better than Cooper Rush. Just doesn’t know the game.

If you didn’t see that Dak was the difference in this game, you either weren’t watching, have an agenda not relevant here, or simply don’t know what you’re seeing.

If you have the game recorded and watch the offensive possessions.

He made something out of nothing all night when our o-line was very bad and our running game was straight up pathetic.

As to what the CZ agrees with or their general understanding of the NFL, is something I gave up awhile back.

Our offensive line is average at run blocking and has become very good at pass blocking. I also think we happened to run into a Chargers who had Bosa and Mack
