Let’s call it like it is, the niners are a WAY better team. But overall, I might be more disappointed by the defense because I mean, they were supposed to be good. They basically got undressed on national TV for all to see. Niners didn’t ask for permission, they just took what they wanted.
What is it about the cowboys defense anyway? Seems like we’re always talking about how they’re going to be this dominant defense, but every year they fold in under the big lights. What really gets me is they still can’t reliably stop the run. The only reason it isn’t exposed more often is because they’re able to play from ahead or they get negative plays against bad teams. I never want to hear about how they’re going to be dominant ever again.
As for dak, nothing else to say. He’s not the one. But I’m not going to openly root against him, or any other player. Like it or not, he’s still better than the alternative. And drafting some rookie will doom us to rebuilding, not to mention that a draftee could suck too.
Anyway, the team needs to find a way to bounce back next week. I believe it’s more it’s more important to catch fire in the second half of the season that the first. It may not happen, but just maybe it will. Or we’ll fold; who knows.
But more than anything, they have to look at themselves in the mirror and ask whether they’re just going to let another team take their manhood. That’s what the niners have done not three times in a row.
